A thin treadmill is only as smart as its app. Treadly needed an app that links to the treadmill over Bluetooth, shows steps, miles and calories in real time, and makes a solo walk a shared, live one with friends and groups.
The app pairs with the treadmill over Bluetooth: a speed control from 0 to 5 with steps, miles and calories on one dial, and the share of the net calorie goal reached.
A live group walk shows the time left and who is walking, and invited friends join with Yes or No. Walkers can also invite a friend to a one-on-one video workout.
Browse top groups and groups for you, such as outdoors, yoga or boxing, and keep your own in My Groups.
Friends and friend requests sit next to groups, with a Friends Ranks board of steps and calories.
A profile with age, height, steps, awards and groups, and a Follow or Unfollow button.
Chat with a friend, with the time of each message and photos in the conversation.
Every walker sees friends ranked by steps and calories, synced from the connected treadmill, so a short walk on a small treadmill still counts.
