AI tools aren't something too costly or inaccessible anymore: these days AI can be used even as a browser extension. No need for complex software infrastructure, no need for extensive training. What’s more, many AI tools are free.

Such simplicity in using AI motivates both team members and business decision-makers to adopt artificial intelligence tools for daily operations and process automation. While some might see AI tools as a risk for many professionals to lose their jobs, we at Perpetio think it's far from that: artificial intelligence can only do so much for now. Still, AI tools can bring incredible value to businesses when it comes to work optimization.

Let’s take a look at the top AI tools that your business should adopt right now to increase its operational efficiency and competitiveness.

ChatGPT

We are starting with the elephant in the room: ChatGPT. This is probably the most discussed artificial intelligence tool today. One can even say that ChatGPT is the service that created all the fuss about AI. What’s its functionality?

ChatGPT is a generative language model trained for imitating a natural conversation. Basically, users are engaging in a dialogue with this tool by posing questions, asking for explanations, and giving instructions. ChatGPT can answer your questions, give arguments, explain things, and even write stories for you.

For example, you can ask ChatGPT to explain a complex notion, let’s say, the chemical principles of solar energy panels. You can even specify for the explanation to be in simple words as if for a 6-year-old. Or you can request ChatGPT to become an expert in big data analysis and talk about the biggest field trends.

Businesses are currently using ChatGPT for marketing purposes, such as writing emails following a prompt, landing page texts, or even simple blog posts. There is a major limitation to ChatGPT: its reliance on sources and training data. It is important to remember that any answer ChatGPT provides is based on existing information online. As a result, the answer might not always be correct or sometimes can even be made up by the model itself and just sound like a fact. Double-checking information and sources is a must.

DALL-E 2

OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT, has created yet another AI tool that is revolutionizing the industry. It’s DALL-E 2: an AI system that creates realistic images based on natural language processing. Whether you need some illustrations for your blog post like us or want to get a unique picture of a dog on a spaceship (why not), it is all possible with DALL-E 2.

DALL-E 2 creates unique illustrations based on your written requests. You can set parameters such as the theme of the picture, main characters, and art style. For example, DALL-E 2 creators show us the result of a request to make an illustration of

  • Teddy bears
  • Working on new AI research
  • Underwater
  • With the 1990th technology

And here’s what the AI came up with:

Looks pretty cool, doesn’t it? Because you can ask DALL-E 2 to draw virtually anything and the scope of your requirements can vary, it is a highly versatile tool. You might either only give a general direction for the picture or list exact parameters to get precisely what you want.

That’s not the limit of DALL-E 2’s capabilities: the AI can edit your pictures, make variations of existing images, or even extend works as if we now can see what was left out on the main picture.

So how is AI capable of creating such realistic and accurate pictures? DALL-E 2 relies on a principle of diffusion: a process of creating a new image by adding noise to the training data and then removing this noise. Noise refers to a pattern of random dots on the image that are gradually altering to become the image we described in our request.

For example, if we ask to create a picture of a fox in the style of Monet, the AI will take real works of Monet and real photos of foxes available, then add noise to them and later on create our output image with a noise removed. It might sound complicated, but in reality, it takes a few seconds for DALL-E 2 to make an original image.

Stable Diffusion

Talking about the diffusion process, Stable Diffusion is one of the newest image generation models out there. We got to test this model ourselves when creating Perpetio’s very own avatar generation application.

Stable Diffusion is an AI image generation model that works similarly to DALL-E 2: it is a text-to-image generator that creates realistic pictures. Stable Diffusion not only allows you to play around with art styles but also makes photos! So yes, it is a good alternative to stock photos.

Still, photo-realistic might be a stretch for now: because the generator takes real photos and processes them by adding and removing noise, the faces of people on images look, well, to be honest, pretty scary. We wouldn’t choose those for our blog.

On the other hand, Stable Diffusion works well with combining drawings and real photos. For example, in our magic avatar application, users can add Disney princess filters to their photos. The results are beautiful artworks that combine the original photo and the style of a princess organically.

While playing around with Stable Diffusion we noticed one more limitation: the service is not always available for creating new images, so sometimes users will have to wait until they get access to the platform.

CopyAI

Let’s now discuss an artificial intelligence tool for writing texts for your business. Copy AI is able to generate written content based on a prompt in just a matter of seconds. You can use this tool to write blog materials, emails, social media posts, sales copies, CVs, value propositions, and much more. And no, this article is not written by Copy AI.

Copy AI allows users to choose between a variety of formats, from long reads to bullet lists of ideas. Your first step in setting a task for Copy AI is to choose a desired copy type. Then, you will write the material’s topic, set a tone, and give some information on the points you want the tool to include. And voilà: you got your copy that only needs editing and polishing now.

As for Copy AI’s limitations, there certainly are some. Firstly, don’t expect to get a well-researched full-fledged blog post on the complex topic from this AI tool. It can be used for guidance, giving ideas, or writing introductions, but making deep, expert content is a bit above Copy AI’s pay grade right now. Don’t expect too niche of jokes either.

Other than that, Copy AI can be a good friend for short-form copy, like social media posts, and brainstorming. As for now, this tool cannot be your in-house content manager but surely can become a reliable writing assistant.

Ocoya

One more AI tool making a difference in content marketing is Ocoya. It is a solution tailored to help businesses manage their social media presence. What can Ocoya do to help you out with running Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other networks? Well, basically everything.

Ocoya AI tool can generate texts, help draw graphics, schedule posts, suggest trending hashtags, and provide performance analytics. It is an all-in-one social media management platform that allows you to regulate how much automation should be in your process. Additionally, it’s also a collaborative workspace for social media managers to keep an eye on the posts.

Ocoya is a comprehensive tool for managing all of your social media presence in one place. Either a business owner or a social media manager can prepare and organize content for a variety of platforms, from Twitter to TikTok. With built-in photo and video editors, an AI text generator, and an analytics tool, Ocoya is a good alternative to jumping between other solutions to get things done.

Of course, let’s not expect this tool to do everything instead of us: creating graphics still requires you to add elements and the text generator needs some input from you as well. Still, it’s better to have all these features at hand in one place and conveniently organized.

Summing Up

AI tools for businesses can be used to optimize and automate your work, but there are some tasks that require more human intelligence and expertise. AI tools cannot wholly replace specialists in areas like marketing, so don’t get ahead to fully digitizing your processes and laying off people. For now, AI tools are good assistants if used smartly.

At Perpetio, we specialize in creating tailored AI and not only applications to help your business improve its competitiveness and services. With our experts at your side, you'll gain a better understanding of how AI can be leveraged to drive growth and performance.
